Camping and Fishing ooh what family fun

Well we decided to go camping a little closer to home. pomonarvpark near A/C.
The camp ground owners are very nice and have just taken it over 1 1/2 year ago and
from what I see and hear what a difference. We have had great family fun there between the camp fires and the events for the kids. I would recommend this place to all. Jennie and Dave are very personable, and they are making lots of changes for the better. I believe this will be one of the top rated camps around. There is fishing close by and crabbing. We even found a place to take our boat and the owners will let you keep your boat there. The weather has been great except when the hurricane came through but that is to be expected. The kids love Mrs Jennie and Mr. Dave they think they are fun and have had lots of fun at the camp. Plenty of space to ride bikes and hay rides. Games, pool, And smoores. The camp actually had one more space for the rest of season and we took it plus they have weekend sites available. Reasonable , friendly can't beet it. Family oriented place to go and close to other activities also you have to check out the website. My youngest daughter caught the only fish but we all had fun trying. There are certain things in life you just cant replace and that is the family fun we have and hope all out there also have it too.

What a blast we had. Talk about family fun and just quality time spent together. We did more camping and fishing we even saw fire works. We didn't take the boat I could only tow one trailer at a time. We went approx 3 1/2 hours away to a place called Fantasy Island. The first night there was a surprise when we go there. The water main had broken to the island and it would be 10:00 when we finally had water. Well as we improvised and went to the camp site it was an easy back up and park. My kids and I started to unpack bikes and dog stuff. Than they went to investigate the campground. My oldest daughter and I started to hook up all the utilities. You know you really can't replace the time spent with your children. We than had a lot more fun well tried we were going to have a fire but it started to rain. So we decided to stay in the trailer and rest. We finally called it a night and went to sleep.
As I like to get up early. It was about 6:00 am when I got up and took the dogs out. Had my first cup of coffee and started the day. There were lots of activities at the campground. Chocolate Olympics, Bingo, parade, a DJ, and flash light hunt for candy.
The family fun didn't stop there was a time to have a BBQ with all the campground and than a auction and raffles. And guess what my youngest daughter won a nice lamp. My son was discouraged because he didn't win anything so he and I went to play shuffle board that was his second best thing to do. The first was miniature golf yes they had a little set up and all the kids loved it. We did try to go fishing but all we kept doing was getting snagged and breaking the lines. Since we didn't have the boat to go out far. The place to fish from was by the bridge and typically the is a lot of rocks also a lot of fish if you can get out far enough. The river kept bringing the lines to the side. So we finally gave up.Well as we had lots of family fun through out the weekend. WE had fires each night and marshmallows and smores. Lots of good food and exercise. The kids rode there bikes a lot it is nice not to have to watch over them like hawks. They just had to check in and let us know where they were. The dogs seemed to like it also. Even during the fireworks the dogs were content a lady even said that was the first time she saw dogs so relaxed during fireworks. We really enjoyed the campground I was hoping it wasn't so far away so maybe we could go more often. The day before we left we went to Knobles it is an amusement park and I'll tell you it was the most reasonable park I have seen. The kids went on all the rides they wanted to and we had lunch also in the park. We got a large pizza and it feed the 5 of us and drinks for only 18.00 that is what we normally pay at home. We have been to the shore and that same pizza and soda was 25.00, but the food at Knobles was very good. Better than any other park we have been to. To get into the park was free no charge. Only had to pay if you wanted to go on the rides so if mom and dad didn't want to ride they didn't have to pay to get in. That was nice because we do go on some rides but not all with the kids. Can't even name all the rides they went on. We even took the dogs they were allowed as long as they were on a leash. All had fun and now we are ready for bed well mom and dad are. Back at the campsite they even had a nice Sunday morning service which was a blessing. Well time to go home and unload. As we packed up and got ready to leave we will all miss the family fun here at Fantasy Island.

Start of Family fun and Making money

Well last year was great as we had lots of family fun. We did a lot of fishing. In the Delaware River we did a lot of cat fishing the kids thought it was great and it seamed like we always caught some. The boat was all finished and we took it out to many times to count. The whole family had a great time fixing the boat and now they are enjoying the fruits of their labor. What a joy for a father to see the smiling faces as a fish is caught. We also went and saw the fire works on the 4Th of July. We are not sure if we want to do that again most of the boaters that leave are going fast and not watching where they are going so it was scary for the little ones not to mention me as the drive. It was almost like riding a motor cycle where you need to watch out for everything and not many see you. Not sure why that is but that's the case. Now where we go to launch the boat is the friendliest place and when you see them on the river everyone waves to each other and if someone is would stop and it looks like they are having a problem they stop to check. A few times we would just cruse around just for fun. I remember that there were waves close to shore and we went toward them and water came in the over the bow the kids loved it they all got wet and since it was planed it was OK. What family fun it was just to spend time with the family. We also went to the bays and rivers down the shore. My wife and I both have our boat license and she likes to drive when we were at the river we caught a lot of crabs and it was cool. My sun caught a fish in his net and dropped it cause he was scared. we all laughed. He also caught a crab on top of the net and he ran to mommy in the boat. We are not real good crabbers or fishers but we are committed to the family fun we do have. My wife and I even got a baby sitter and took the boat out ourselves. We took the boat in the ocean oh what a blast. We caught sand sharks and skates. The biggest was 3 1/2 foot long shark and the skate from tips was approx 2 feet. You know if there was no money to use for these trips it would be a bummer. I am glad that I can earn some money online to do these things. I could not replace the times spent with the family and couldn't even put a price on it. I praise God for all he has provided. The whole family boating project

Hey you know we bought a boat a few years ago. The whole family boating project. Many say it is a hole in the water where you can just dump you money. Well I say it's a lot of family fun, summer fun. The first year we had the boat it did cost money, but you see I bought it cheap. The actual fun to start was the fix up. We went fishing and when my son caught a fish he would jump up and down almost going threw the deck of the boat. So we had to fix it. The whole family helped. We remove the deck only to find out that the stringers were no good. Than we removed the stringers. What a project. But the family was having fun we were doing it together. Well we scraped all the wood off and washed it all down it was just a big vee with a gas tank. This also took a lot of money so we all chipped in between working and change what ever we could make online. We finally were able to start to rebuild the boat. Went and got marine plywood and cut all down to size. In a boat all has to be coated with fiberglass so we also did that. On a boat you can't just nail things together so we carefully placed the stringers in and fiberglass them in place. Boy who would of thought that this would be so much fun for the whole family. Talking about family fun in the sun. We than put the deck down and we were ready to finish the inside. We made benches for seats so the underneath could be used for storage. It really turned out great. and the rest was summer fun for the family. WE all went fishing and just driving around.

a fun weekend

The whole family went caming over the weekend and we had summer fun even tough it is spring. I am married and have 3 kids and 2 dogs. We went in a 25 foot travel trailer. we also have a 19 foot boat. We threw the football around and rode bikes. We also kicked the soccer ball around and the volly ball. There were activitys for the kids also, like crafts, train rides, movie time, yogi bear was also there. The have fishing also. It was so much fun spending time together. Saturday was a buetiful day for all outside fun.
Saturday night we roasted marshmellows and hot dogs on the fire. Well we tried hamburgers but the grate for the fire ring bend because of the heat, and i burned them all. I guess I need some practice. It got chilli at night but we had heat. In the middle of the night it got cold and I am tall and my feet hang off the bed and my toes were very cold. I heard the heater on so i thought nothing of it. Well got up early to take dogs for walk and forund out that we ran out of propane. Lucky we had a spare tank that was full. Great we now had heat again. I was really surprised how well the 2 dogs did they are alittle over a year old and thay had no accidents. Well thay also had matchbox races and we were not prepared. But the store had some for sale.
Imagine that! I bought a few cars and let the kids race and it was fun. I tought it would be quick because they were just regular cars. Guess what? They did really good they keep winning and one care ran 6 times before it got eliminated. The other car ran up till the final 4 and lost what a great time.
Well time to go and a great family summer fun time was had by all. The little ones slept on the way home. I am glad that i cam make extra money on line
to pay for the family camping and boating trips.
